Refilling Prescriptions
We make every effort to refill prescriptions by phone upon request. We ask that you provide us with the phone number to your pharmacy or contact your pharmacy and have them send us a “refill request” form. Most medications prescribed to you at the time of your appointment can be refilled within one year. Any prescription that is over one year requires an examination by the physician and cannot be refilled by phone. There are some medications that require regular monitoring (blood testing and physical examination) and cannot be refilled over the phone without the doctor’s examination.
We are available to care for your urgent problems, even after regular office hours.
Please contact our office at (858) 794-9192 and follow the instructions on the answering service to contact us after hours. In case of a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go the nearest emergency room.
